Minutes Hub Overview
Open Minutes in your dashboard sidebar to find your documents or start a new draft. Build minutes from existing NoteWave recordings, documents, pasted notes, or a combination of sources. You can also start from a transcript using Generate Minutes.
Minutes is available on Pro, Business and Enterprise, and during an active Business trial. You do not need a recording if you have notes or a transcript of what happened in the meeting.
Start with what you have
Choose a starting point under Start new minutes. You can add more sources in the composer.
- 01
Add a recording
Select a transcribed meeting from your NoteWave library. Combine related recordings when one meeting spans several parts.
- 02
Upload documents
Add Word (.docx), text-based PDF or text files. Use meeting notes or a transcript as the record of what happened.
- 03
Paste notes
Paste your own meeting notes. Include who attended, what was discussed, decisions and follow-up actions.
Use up to four recordings and four documents or pasted notes in one draft. Label each source by its purpose. Add an agenda or previous minutes for context, including an existing NoteWave minutes document through Use previous minutes.
Choose the format and details
Choose the meeting type and document format that suit your meeting. Options cover general and committee meetings, boards, school governing bodies, body corporate meetings, shareholder meetings, executive reports and action minutes.
- Check your source list and any messages about missing or unreadable content.
- Choose the format, output language, level of detail and tone.
- Add meeting details or custom instructions where needed.
- Select Generate minutes. Processing time depends on the sources.
- Open the draft and review it against the meeting record before sharing or exporting.
Refine and review the draft
Use the workspace's AI feedback controls to request changes, such as making a section more concise or changing the tone. Check the revised draft against your sources; AI can omit or misinterpret details.
Confirm attendance, names, amounts, resolutions, action owners and due dates. The review tools support this check and do not certify accuracy, quorum or approval.
Edit, revisit and follow up
- Edit: select a block in the document to correct or adjust its content.
- Version history: inspect saved revisions and restore an earlier version when needed.
- Action sync: where available for the document, review the proposed changes before syncing actions into the linked meeting's tracker. A standalone draft does not create a linked recording.
Return to Minutes in the sidebar to find the document again.
Export to PDF or Word
Download the reviewed draft as a PDF for circulation or an editable Word document. Business and Enterprise can apply their configured organisation branding to supported minutes exports.
Keep the approved document in your organisation's records and follow your usual review and sign-off process.
