What is a Meeting Recap?
A Meeting Recap (`/recap/[token]`) is a clean, executive-ready web summary designed for external stakeholders, clients, and meeting attendees who need the outcomes of a meeting without logging into your NoteWave dashboard.
Recaps provide an interactive multimedia summary: recipients can read a structured executive overview, review key decisions, explore categorized discussion points, and check upcoming deadlines.
Interactive Audio & Highlight Reels
Clicking any paragraph or quote in the recap instantly plays the exact audio segment recorded during the meeting.
Interactive checklists allow recipients to see assigned owners and deadlines at a glance.
Generating a Recap
- Open any processed meeting from your library
- Click the Share Recap button in the header
- NoteWave generates an interactive recap URL
- Copy the public link or email it directly to participants
Recaps vs. Full Transcripts
When should you share a Recap instead of a raw transcript?
Sharing with executives, clients, external partners, or busy attendees who only need executive takeaways and key decisions without 45 minutes of raw chatter.
Collaborating with internal colleagues, co-editors, legal reviewers, or auditors who need word-for-word transcript editing and full annotations.
Revoking or Updating Access
You can disable a recap link at any time from the meeting sharing panel. Once disabled, anyone attempting to visit the URL will see an expired link notice, and audio streaming will be cut off immediately.
